BRIEF BIO ON SCHOLAR:

Nathaniel is born in a family of eleven children. He lost his mother at just three years of age, but that didn’t deter from pursuing his dream of attaining education. With the support of his single father, he started his education journey, deep in his rural school in Kamwenge. Against all odds, he went through his primary and lower secondary level of education. After his O’level, the father could not afford school fees to take him to A’level. His hope of furthering his education was restored when The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Brac offered him a Scholarship. Once the scholarship was secured, he enrolled at Hana Mixed School for his A’level education. He excelled in his final exams in 2014, and by luck, he secured another Scholarship to undertake his University education, through The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor in Development Economics, which falls within his dream of becoming an economist, a dream he had right in his childhood. He is grateful to The MasterCard Foundation for supporting him to realise his dream.
