Hadijah is the fourth in the family of eight children. She leaves with both her parents, her father is a driver by occupation, and he is the sole provider of the family, her mother is a peasant farmer. She attended her primary education at St. Kaloli, Kiwangula, and her O’ level at Hamdan Girls High School. After her O’level the father could not afford her school fees for high school. Luckily The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Brac offered her a Scholarship, and with it she joined East High School- Ntinda for her Advance level education. At A’ level she did Physics, Economics and Mathematics, where she excelled her final exams in 2014. After A’level luck smiled at her again, she was offered another Scholarship by The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere, she currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. She aspires to become an accountant, and her dream is to use her resources to help the poor, the young, the orphans and elders in her community, so that they also have or live a better life. She is grateful to The MasterCard Foundation for the support rendered to her, which has made it possible for her to go thus far with education.
