Isma was born in the remote village of Namagoma in Wakiso District. Unfortunately, he lost his parents when he was an infant.  He was adopted by his Aunt who took care of him during his tender age. With the Scholarship secured, he went through lower secondary and high school, at Seroma Christian High School without any encumbrances. He excelled in final exams in 2014, but had no hope of joining University. Luck was on his side once again, he was offered another Scholarship by The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Health and Management. He aspires to become a wild life conservationist, and advocate for a health wild life in Uganda. He is grateful for the support by The MasterCard Foundation that has seen him get to where he is now.
